Crafts Council – #todayimmaking
The Crafts Council very kindly covered me on their #todayimmaking feature. Thanks guys. Today I’m making Porcelain Sandwiches for York Curiouser, an upcoming exhibition which will see 300 of these sandwiches ‘left’ around York.
The Buried City Exhibition
An interesting exhibition which I have some work included in, coming up at Crescent Arts in Scarborough for Museums at Night. The exhibition will be shown in the gallery space at Crescent Arts during April and May.
Open Studios, Exhibition & Artist Talks
How Many Artists Does it Take to Draw a Lightbulb? Open Studios and a joint exhibition of current work from the six resident artists at Crescent Arts. Myself and Jade Monsterrat will also be giving artist talks on both days over the weekend of the 16th, 17th Feb as part of the Coastival festival.
Saltburn Arts Fair
I’ve been selected to take part in this years Saltburn Arts Fair which is run in conjunction with Mima (Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art). I’ll be setting up a stall on the 5th August.
Farm World Exhibition at Crescent Arts
I have a solo exhibition at Crescent Arts in Scarborough. The exhibition entitled FARM WORLD runs from Saturday the 9th June until the 7th July.
Artist in Residence Exhibition at Crescent Arts
I’ve started work on FARM WORLD, my next exhibition which will be shown at Crescent Arts in Scarborough. This exhibition is part of my Studio Residency and will be shown in June and July.
Delivery of the Charmology Head to Scarborough Museums Trust
I’ve just delivered the finished Charmology Head to Shirley Collier, CEO of Scarborough Museums Trust. It will be exhibited in the upcoming Fears, Foes & Faeries Exhibition in Scarborough Art Gallery .
Death of Sainsbury’s on display at Ferens Art Gallery, Hull
My ceramic piece The Death of Sainsbury’s is currently on show at Ferens Art Gallery in Hull, the exhibition which the work is included in runs until April 15th.
Eastern Summer at Scarborough Art Gallery
I was invited to be a live guest artist for the evening at the recent Eastern Summer Late event at Scarborough Art Gallery (commissioned to draw the public’s portraits).
National Glass Centre Showcase
I’ve been invited by the National Glass Centre to display my work in a Craft & Design Showcase, this will be installed downstairs in a large display case next to the elevator. This showcase will run from 13th October through until 10th January 2012.
