In October I joined the team at York NHS Teaching Hospitals to run a series of workshops in the Stroke Unit at Scarborough Hospital. It’s the first time I’ve worked in this kind of environment and I’m enjoying immensely working with patients at the hospital to help in their recovery. I’ll continue to run workshops in the […]
I worked with MakeMore Arts in August to deliver 5 land art sessions for Ryedale Council. These were around the theme ‘Beathe’ and were commissioned by Ryedale Council to tie in with playgrounds in Ryedale going smoke free. We set up the installations in some beautiful sites working with enthusiastic children and parents.
Love this photo I’ve just taken of a cormorant on the RNLI slipway at South Bay, Scarborough. The cormorant had been there for some time and I’d enjoyed watching it after it had got out of the water. I was treated to this amazing pose as it shook it’s wings. Beautiful 🙂
A friend told me about this exhibition when I was in London and highly recommended that I visit, suggesting that it was completely up my street. Emma Kunz was a clairvoyant and spiritual healer who used a pendulum to channel and create large geographic drawings which she used to assist in her healing, referencing these […]

Voting day again and I have recently come across the posters from dads progressive candidacy days… I am fascinated by everything about these, from the print makers information to the feel of the paper, the quality of the print and the colour of the font. I can imagine them being churned off a huge machine.
Ha ha… News has just reached me that one of my porcelain sandwiches is out on display in the reception of the Leeds HQ of the Arts Council offices, this apparently has moved with them from the Dewsbury office where it was also on display… The lovely chap there who took a photo of it […]
Had some lovely feedback to my work at the NORTHBOUND pop-up exhibition at Newcastle Train Station on Friday. I love showing work in random and interesting venues and this was definitely one of those. Some lovely work by other artists connected to the North East was on display which made for an interesting exhibition…

Very enjoyable weekend in which I received this! Nicely timed as I am a year into my spiritual healing course (half way through) and was looking for another big push forward. Very much want to explore magnetic healing next (not to be mistaken for healing with magnets) but can’t find any courses in the uk… […]
I’ve just been doing some research of exhibitions by Psychic Artists and have come across this exhibition put on by the Courtauld Gallery last year, 16 June – 11 September 2016. I wish I’d seen it at advertised at the time as I find these paintings absolutely phenomenal, fascinating that she also predates the abstract artists by […]
