Work, Space, Pressure – Exhibition at the University of Essex

I have some work on show in an upcoming exhibition at the Art Exchange at the University of Essex.

The exhibition, Work Space Pressure showcases international contemporary artists who address the burdens of artistic labour and the increasing volatility of the modern working environment. Time, materiality and tension between private and public activity are used to frame the predominant concerns that influence happier working environments and personal wellbeing. By confronting issues related to office environments Work Space Pressure explores the pleasures, discomforts, boredom and humour in modern working life.

This exhibition runs from 13th May until 11th June. Artists in the show include Leon Ferrari, Bea Fremderman, Clare Conway, Perce Jerrom, Karen Thompson, Phillip Rugo, Luke Nairn, Emma Hart and Femke Herregraven.
